Home-Made Shampoos
Lavender shampoo:
Ingredients:

Hundred grams of amla.

Hundred grams of khus.

Hundred grams of char.

Two hundred grams of reetha.

Take two hundred grams of shikakai.

Half teaspoon of sodium benzoate.

Two and half litres of water.

Take hundred grams of charilla.

Take eight teaspoons of lavender oil.
Soak amla, heena, shikakai, khus, charchirila and reetha for one night. Boil them in the morning till the mixture remains the half. Now strain the mixture and add lavender oil and sodium benzoate. Shampoo is ready.
Neem shampoo:
- Take one kilogram of gram flour.
- One kg of shikakai powder.
- Two fifty grams of sandalwood powder.
- Take about four to five cups of neem leaves powder.
Mix these ingredients and keep it in an airtight bottle. When needed for washing, soak two tablespoons of it in a cup of water, and then apply
Methi-shikakai shampoo:
- Take one kg of shikakai.
- About two fifty grams of methi.
- Handful of orange/ lemon peels.
Crush all these ingredients into a powdery form. Soak this powder in half cup of water, two hours before applying on your hair.
Lime shampoo:
Ingredients:
- Take hundred grams of char.
- Hundred grams of khus.
- Take hundred grams of charilla
- Take about hundred grams of amla.
- Take about two hundred grams of shikakai.
- Eight teaspoons of glycerine.
- One and half teaspoons of sodium benzoate.
- Take four teaspoons of lime juice.
- Two hundred grams of reetha.
- Two and half litres of water.
Boil amla, shikakai, char, khus, charilla in the water till the mixture becomes half the quantity. Strain it and add rest of the ingredients. Rinse the hair and apply the shampoo for two to three minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm.
Sandalwood shampoo:
Ingredients:
- Take hundred grams of khus.
- Take two hundred grams of reetha.
- Take hundred grams of amla.
- Hundred grams of char.
- Two hundred grams of shikakai.
- Take hundred grams of charilla.
- Take half teaspoon of sodium benzoate.
- Two and half litres of water.
- Take eight teaspoons of sandalwood oil.
Soak Shikakai, Khus, Char, Charilla, Amla, Reetha & water for a night. Boil this in the morning till half the quantity remains. Strain it and add sodium benzoate and sandalwood oil. Shampoo is ready.
