One might have never thought of this option, the water. Yes, water is natural source that can help one in losing the excess weight. There are many qualities of water of which people are unaware of.
The first and foremost quality of water related to weight loss is it contains no calories. Water contains zero amount of calorie. One should drink plenty of water instead of fruit juices, milk or other soda drinks.
Water reduces the over all calorie content of the diet and accordingly helps in losing the weight. Water does not contain any nutrients also. In fact, the soft drinks, milk and fruit juices contains noteworthy amount of nutrients.
Milk offers good amount of protein and calcium, while citrus juices like of orange, grape and lemon fulfils the requirement of Vitamin C in the body. One glass of any citrus fruit juice is well enough to meet the daily Vitamin C requirement of the body.
Water in dietary plans:
Many dieters feel that water is very helpful one drinks it just before taking the meal or when feeling hungry. But it should not be taken as a regular method for reducing the appetite.
Actually, hunger is a sign of low level of blood sugar in the body and water provides no help in correcting that situation. One should not think that drinking only water to fill the stomach is enough to lose the weight. It in fact is just an artificial substitute which is of no help in maintaining the lost weight for long time.
There are some other factors in which water helps and ultimately results in weight loss.
One should drink plenty of water daily. It helps in minimizing strong desire for food by working on reducing the daily appetite of a person. Plenty of water may include about eight glasses daily. But if one is on the dietary plan, then one requires more than eight glasses.
If one follows a regular exercise plan, then it is recommended to drink water after, before and during the workouts. This helps in keeping high energy level.
