In 1958, the Division of Plastic Surgery was formed at the Toronto University.
This division provides an inclusive advance in medicinal examination and concern for plastic surgery of the face, limits and the body.

At the Pennsylvania University, Dr. Robert H. Ivy began practicing the training program and plastic surgery at the end of the Ist World War. He was a well renowned plastic surgeon in the US during that period.
