Statistics about Plastic Surgery in the year 2004

In 2004, an analysis was carried out by the experienced surgeons of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and it was estimated that 11.9 million surgical and non-surgical plastic surgery procedures were performed.

Surgical procedures are 18 % of the total and non-surgical procedures include 82 % of the total. There was a remarkable rise in the percentage of plastic surgery from the year 2003 to 2004.
