Puberty Acne Causes

Acne is a skin disorder, large numbers of people affected by this disorder due to hair follicles and the sebaceous glands.

In the United States, about 17 million persons are affected by this skin disorder. Acne and acne scars starts during puberty.

The male sex hormones- androgens produce in both boys and girls, which can cause the sebaceous glands for increasing the production of oil in the body. Excess production of sebum is secreted by the testosterone from the sebaceous glands of skin.

It gives the result of division of skin cells and blocks the hair follicles in the skin. During puberty, acne is caused by sebum production in girls and boys.

The production of oils is made by the hair follicle during puberty, which is called by sebum. Excess oil in skin traps the bacteria and dirt and blocks the all pores in the skin. Blackheads appear on the surface of the skin when partially block pores in the skin. There are large numbers of causes of acne during puberty. They may include:

Follicle fallout

The dead cells in the skin shed and break out the skin’s surface during puberty. In the people with acne, these dead cells have shed very fastly within the hair follicle. A plug is formed by these cells in the hair follicle with more sebum and protect the surface of skin from finishing.

Hormones

During puberty, acne begins when the hormones, which are known as androgens, produced by the human body. And then, hormones in the skin enlarge the sebaceous glands. Sometimes, the sebaceous glands over stimulate by hormones, which are caused acne on the skin.

Excess Sebum

During puberty, the sebaceous glands are made by the androgens in the body and make the excess sebum. And these sebums mix with the dead cells in the skin and then bacteria from skin shed within hair follicle. The presents of excess production of sebum in the hair follicle produce the clogging and lead acne and acne scars on the skin’s surface.

Inflammation

The intruders are attacked by the white blood cells in case of encountering the unnecessary bacteria from the skin. Inflammation around the affected area is caused by chemotaxis process. During puberty, it gives the results like harmful, red and swollen acne on the surface of the skin of body.

Bacteria

Propionibacterium caused acne on the skin’s surface, when hair follicles have become plugged. Bacteria increases very quickly in the body and form the chemical reaction in the hair follicle which is called by inflammation around the affected area and develop acne on the skin’s surface.
