How to Apply Mineral Make up: Foundations: 1. Swirl a small amount into the lid with the Kabuki Brush until the minerals are tucked into the bristles. 2. Tap off excess. There should be no visible product on the outside of the brush. 3. Buff onto the skin in a swirling, circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones. Then, buff around the remainder of the face, working your way to the cheeks, forehead, and nose. Buff until you're satisfied with the coverage. Remember, a little goes a long way. You can always increase coverage by adding additional layers. Flocked sponge method: Dip sponge lightly into powder and then sweep over face, blending into corners and creases. Remember, a little goes a long way. You can always increase coverage by adding additional layers. Concealer: Use any foundation wet or dry for more opaque coverage. Use a yellow based shade to counteract dark spots or bluish tones. Use a green based shade to cover redness. Add a shade lighter or darker to adjust skin color matching. Eye Liner: Shake a small amount of powder onto the lid of container Dip your eyeliner brush into water and then into a small amount of the powder. Swirl on the back of your hand or in a container to create a creamy consistency, and then apply to the eyes. You can also mix water with the minerals first and then dip your brush into the cream. Lip Color: You can apply the powder to your lips directly and apply a gloss (lip gloss, balm, etc.) Or you can apply a gloss or lipstick first and then rub the minerals over that. Finger Nail Polish: All you need is a top or base coat place a small amount of the product on 6 inch paper plate dip into top coat then the powder slowly guide it from the cuticle to the tip of the nail in three sections apply two complete applications let dry and one top coat. The advantage of nail use is after a year nail polish ends up drying in bottles quickly if not used frequently. No more wasting money on polish :) |
